Ground work created using C4D thinking particles and many various post production techniques thereafter.
I set up an intricately self interacting system with around 4 particle groups, each group responsible for each branch generation of the structure. The groups all had interactive properties set up to create organic branching forms.

Once the general rules were created I explored the different ways in which this branching structure could be visualised and re-structured. 
Along the way I used Zbrush, pure data and photoshop to explore the various visual styles which could be derived from these organic structures.
