I was able to get ahold of some very interesting books on experimental photography and futuristic fashion, one of them being this collection by man ray.

These are some of the images that had an impact on me from that book

Since I am lately having a b/w niche these truly spoke out to me in the way that shadows work in a negative way oftenly, allowing multiple interpretations of a piece, also by the texture and graphicality of some of the silver prints that he displays in this book.

There is 2 montages in which I felt connected because of my strong graphic design principles that shape my photography, specially also because its a surrealistic approach so something believed to be a true representation of reality.

In this other book based on Pierre Cardin's designs, I mostly focused on the dynamic relationships between subjects, and how to maintain the styling high in the hierarchy on the photo whilst having multiple models in frame, all of them using something different, I also loved the use of the studio in these, mainly because it respect the clothes above everything else, it doesn't have to be perfectly clean on the backdrop, but it is on the clothes. I also found the deigns extremely interesting, specially because it idealises a futuristic version of the human, where geometry and eccentricism are the reigning features.

I also had the chance to look at one of Yayoi Kuzama's books, its more a compilation of her installations and fashion crafts, but still it was interesting to see how a full space can become an art installation piece.
This was particularly interesting as I was reading this book whilst planning my exhibition, which was obviously nothing like that at all, but helped me understood the importance of space intervention
