BeeKind
For Beekind's design, I wanted to create a logo meet the clients request to incorporate the bee but personified in a light hearted, cute design. I tried to maintain a minimalistic design when executing my design, the idea was to create a logo that would be the mascot for the company. I was thinking of fun names and  came to mind pretty quickly. That being said, I tried my best to retain a minimalistic style to the design, going for "the less is more" ideal.

The logo depicts a large curved body with three thick stripes running down the middle. The wings are purposefully to give the body some size, essentially making the bee look rather pudgy. I then put in some stubby round legs in order to look less like an insect, after wards I place two simple dots for eyes and a single curve for a smile as its face. I wanted to give the depiction that the bee was hovering off the ground or flying so I added a light shadow below the bee.

As for the font I wanted to go for something cute and friendly cursive font would perfectly align with the style of my design. Since having the shadow below the design meant that really there was not a lot of options as to where to place the typography, really other than below the shadow as well.

Enclosed below are some mockup examples plus my art boards for developing my design:
