When I was travelling last April, I had the incredible experience to walk on railway for two hours. An opportunity to discover an other aspect of the life of sri lankan people that I wanted to catch.
This series is exploring an island soul. At the heart of Sri Lanka, the railway runs between Nuwara Eliya and Ella.
Hypnotized by the rails, I walk into a path of motion and life. Here I come across schoolgirls, workers, people bathing in the river or carrying an armchair.
In this piece of jungle, sliced by steel, reigns a rare tranquility.
