Procreate- Digital painting, custom brushes
This work more than anything was a testing ground for me to learn the basic of Procreate and the brush creation tool. It was extremely helpful to learn and have the ability to create my own brushes for the foliage of the trees, for the ferns and the grass on the ground.
I wanted to convey a feeling of being out of place by positioning the observer's point of view in the lower part and making it a creepy place you wouldn't want to stand, instead over his head spans a bridge between the trees where you're able to watch and cross the whole landscape without risks.
I think I wasn't able to fully implement my ideas and covey the message in an interesting way but this was my secondary priority and it was still worth a try.
