For this project we had to create a nonpartisan podcast that encouraged people to go vote. I created The Parties Over podcast. The title itself is a play on words, saying that the political parties are over, while also the ‘party’ is over. It’s time to come together and stop letting party lines divide us. This podcast centered around informing people of their rights as well as talking about current legislation in motion. For this assignment I imagined the podcast would do a series during voting season, talking about each state and what was on their ballot.
This was an extensive project that involved creating advertisements, merch, posters, even a graphic design standard guide.
