This sculpture was created to explore the idea of wandering... Its undulating surfaces are accented by white dots on the back and the point of vision is accented by a dotted sun structure on the "face." Made from 547 Red sculpture clay and 266 Dark Brown clay mixed and coiled, then smoothed with a metal rib. The white underglaze was applied when the sculpture was leather hard. Fired to Cone 6 in an electric kiln with a clear glaze applied to finish -- it reflects light from each turn of its surface.
