A Gateway to the Galaxy
A series of pieces set around the discovery of ancient alien technology, jump gates. Giving humanity access to the stars.
The Discovery
Kupier Belt, year 2318. ESA deep space probe Argonaut discovers a jumpgate for the first time. Ravaged by time and metiorite impacts, but unmistakably constructed, this is humanities first contact (if with the remains of a long gone civilisation) and our route to the stars.
Luna Hub
Luna Orbit, year 4201. The superyacht Gilded Swan of Sol Space Ltd. arrives back into the Sol system at the Luna Hub.

Going Home
Dimidium Orbit,  51 Pegasi system, year 3006. A mining freighter approaches the local jumpgate prior to one final jump home, back to the Sol system and Earth.

------
Created for Project Aurora: Orange.

I have also discussed the making of this piece, particularly in relation to the use of lighting (along with some other bits and pieces)
here.
After the Jump
Chila Orbit, Iota Horiigali system, year 2857.
A freighter arrives in system bringing goods destined for the local colony.
