Excited and fearful. That's how I felt when Wix.com reached out with a localization project. Don't get me wrong, I have done this before, but this is Wix.com - the billion dollar tech company. 

After a trip to Israel to close the deal, I gathered my team and started to research the Brazilian market for trending small businesses, comparing with the current template offering from Wix. We selected emerging and traditional categories, such as: Car Mechanics, Pet Stores, Medical Clinics and Startups. 

Our design process ended with myself and my design team flying to Israel and working closely with the Wix team, fine tuning every single template and making sure it's compatible with user's skills. 

After a month of analytics and suspense, our project completed all relevant KPI's and exceeded expectations from Wix.com.
