for a documentary film by Julia Shuvchinskaya

WELD QUEENDOM is a documentary film about the art, life and philosophy of the artist Alexandra Weld Queen.
Being a sculptor specialising in welding, Alexandra manages to create a queendom of her own in one of the well known metallurgic plants in Moscow that is the "castle" where all the magic happens.
A breathtaking experience from being a solo artists, becoming an entrepreneur and landing on the grounds of the Burning Man with her outstanding retrospective sculptures. Leaving her realm behind for a brief time to build an airfield in the middle of the desert allowing the public to have a "walking in the sky" experience and enjoy themselves relaxing on her airplane swing sculptures.

An additional version of the poster without the image of the artist was created for collateral use on social media.
A little insight of the work in progress and the elements created for the poster
The figures used in the posters are outlines of the real sculptures.
The outlines follows strictly the structure of the sculptures.
The elements of the castle are made from the outline of the actual existing plant where Alexandra Weld Queen is working.
The continuation of the castle is imaginary.
