On one hand we had to address Business owners, but on the other hand this is a consumer mobile app available on iPhone and Android.
The real challenge was to decide whether we want to address the two audiences at once or if we should focus more on one of the two.
The decision was to focus on B.Owners, because by getting them onboard the consumers (their customers) will come as well as part of their efforts to get feedback about their businesses.
The graphical implementation of this was to make 2 versions of the landing page which were toggled by the top tabs ("I'm a customer" and "I'm a business owner"), and to have those tabs always visible.
The image for the hero is a free image from a real restaurant, to reflect real people.
All icons and graphic elements came from the visual identity of OwnerListens, and with a splash of modern flat design trends.
A lot of white space was used as well as parallaxed image strips in order to give the readers a break from time to time from the mass of content while still getting the message of the brand across.
