I was fortunate enough to have my work featured in David Hunters Data Walking book that looked into gathering environmental data and how it could be visualised.
“Data Walking is a funded research project exploring the potential of walking to gather environmental data and through multiple walks and visualisations build a rich picture of that area. The project examines technology and tools for creative data gathering and experimenting with data visualisation, to create tools, gain insight, and share knowledge.”
I decided to investigate how the amount of light affects the temperature.
“Common sense would say the more light present, the higher the temperature will be. Does it get brighter in the summer, and colder in the winter? How does the time of day compare for these values throughout the year?”
