For this linocut, I really took my time to carve the design and find the right color. Unlike my previous ones, I have a variety of proof prints for this one!
Then I tried to get a warmer brown (the "chocolate" print below) and carved some more to get the body immersed into the plants.
But for printing an edition, a gradation would be too difficult for me as I don't have enough room to do all the ink mixing. I bought a bigger roller, which will be a big help for this kind of print.
Final print ! Handprinted on BFK Rives paper with Caligo safe wash ink.
