Hostel at Nuova Accademia di belle Arti Milano University
Maquette of a Hostel concept I did back in 1st year, for a hostel that would be built on @naba university campus.
The aim was to create a structure that would not take over the existing small garden and not loose it's predestined function for the students. The hostel's shape is all about creating an open community, then lifting up the various rooms/ cabins allows for circulation under the cabins and creates a sense of privacy for the guests. All together combining privacy and enclosement, with an open and welcoming place for the stay of guests and students.
