Hesitation and Anxiety

The first exploration on a style based in pencil and watercolour. The piece done off of a live model was finished with light water color washes. with attention given to the tension found in the joints and in the fabric folds. Color and forms added to help amplify emotional mood and message attached to the tension in the figure's form.

The two pieces while approaching a similar concept, were taken with two separate approaches to suggest mood and tension. One with focus on color for mood, and line for focus point, and the second with color being focal point suggesting the tension more.
