Scrubr Branding
Scrubr, an incubation-stage startup, brought me on their team to design, market, perform research, as well as take on their UX design as their website is created. I wear many hats while working with Scrubr, and work closely with the founder and CEO on their vision for the brand. My other responsibilities in addition to logo and branding creation have been to create their social media channels, plan their marketing strategy, create high and low fidelity web mockups, manage their MailChimp, create a beta site on Webflow, and create a branding use guide for other partners.
Client: Scrubr
Details: Scrubr is an incubation-stage startup that monitors user's social media content. This is an emerging brand so my client had absolutely no branding done and needed an identity created.
Goal: To create a brand identity that flowed with my client's wishes to how Scrubr would be portrayed to their target audience, as well as expand upon the brand and give it life. This is an ongoing project that also includes laying the foundation for marketing campaigns, social media, and creating their website design.
This project used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

To work through the founder's vision for their brand, I created a mood board that detailed all of the aspects of Scrubr that they loved. A bright, clean blue was wanted for the design to promote cleanliness and also be a bright and popular blue like other social media applications. Since this is a program that assists with social media content, they wanted a similar vibe.
Design Process
Concepting:
These two color palettes and mockups were presented to my client after a discussion about where they wanted to go with the brand. I presented it, and the top branding was selected. Once this was decided, I expanded upon the choices and created a brand identity for Scrubr.

Multiple color palettes were made to choose and discuss from to gauge the right blue for Scrubr. Scrubr branding will be primarily the soap and bubbles icon, but it will also be identified by their brand name as just text. A favicon was created as well with their signature blue from the Scrubr 1 palette, #52dee5.

The black and white soap is their main icon and I also developed a favicon for their website and social media pages.

High Fidelity Wireframes for their Website
Scrubr also asked me to make high fidelity web page mockups for their beta testing page that they wanted for email signups. I gave them several options, some of which are included here. These were created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD. Eventually, a clickable prototype with the entire site will be created. Plans for A/B testing are also in the works. I will continuously update this site as the project continues. To follow their progress, they can be followed on Twitter or Instagram @ScrubrSocial.
