Soundscape Project
For this project we have to capture the atmosphere of Mega City. It was suggested that we make a moodboard for the assignment to get across what we are going to achieve. My first thoughts were to Google Mega City, as I had no idea what it was.
So I gathered images on Google aswell as comic sites. These are the images i found below.
From here on I thought of words that came to me from all the images. My list was as follows;
Chaos
Damaged
Intellegent robots
Gigantic Tower Blocks
Sickness
Cold
Dense
Industrial
Wet
Rusty
Organic
Mechanical sounds
Futuristic
Slums
Congested
Air pollution
over populated
Cloudy
Dull
Space
Neon lights
Copper
exaggerated
My next step is to look at sound effects to build on from here.
So here is my first attempt at making the soundscape.
