Whenever I design something, I absolutely need music in the background to fit the mood of whatever the project calls for. Let's just say silence never leads to anything productive for me so one day during the middle of quarantine, I decided to bring that "background noise" to the foreground, and what better way to accomplish that than by integrating what I was listening to with the art I was creating. After giving the project some more thought, I decided to take prominent NFL stars who I thought best represented the city/state (even if they are no longer with the team e.g. Julio Jones with the Falcons, J.J. Watt with the Texans) with artists from that same area and mesh them together through design with the use of lyrics, city skylines, song themes, team mascots and album cover art.
And of course each piece was created while listening to the artist it featured. I hope you enjoy.
