Board-certified psychiatrist Joseph Markowitz SC spent seven years working in addiction psychiatry at James A. Haley VAMC. Licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina and Florida, he currently serves as assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of South Florida while also working as a psychiatrist at Palmetto Health. Addiction, psychopharmacology, and PTSD treatment are his primary research interests.
