The starting point for the oak chair was to create an easy-to-produce frame made from solid oak parts holding the seating in an elegant manner. The emphases goes to the bridging element connecting both back legs and supporting the seating, creating a solid yet refined look.
By using 32mm thick wooden planks and positioning the slim part front facing, a subtle front view is created. Where the side view and back view are connected through a radius the front gets an intersecting joint detailing.
