Acrobat / Légtornász , Fonal rajz / Thread drawing 2021
For the competition
I chose this technique because I feel that the use of embroidery is slowly beginning to be forgotten and forgotten. I feel like the vibrant color of the thread never fades! It's this vibe, this diversity, that's what's connected to the theme given to me by the atmosphere and experience of the Circus. Colors attract the viewer's attention to the essential elements of the composition. The main character of the creation is the acrobat, the "new one", who tries to create the illusion of lightness for us with superhuman effort, and the tents connect him to the "old" world. It's like an old colourful circus poster with fading and brightening colours. That's exactly how I saw it in my imagination!
It reminds me of acrobats and air gymnasts who, although injured, never gave up this vocation through centuries of family roots, inheriting this passion and dedication to entertainment.
"The show must go on".
Azért választottam ezt a technikát, mert úgy érzem, lassan kezd elfelejtődni, homályba veszni a hímzés alkalmazása. Úgy érzem, hogy a fonál vibráló színe sose fakul ki! Ez a vibrálás, ez a sokszínűség az, ami a megadott témához a Cirkusz hangulatához, élményéhez kapcsolódik nekem. A színek vonzzák a néző figyelmét a kompozíció lényegi elemeire. Az alkotás főszereplője a légtornász- az „újat” képviseli-, aki emberfeletti erőfeszítéssel próbálja megteremteni nekünk a könnyedség illúzióját és a sátrak kötik össze a „régi” világgal. Az egész akár egy régi színes cirkuszi kicsit kopottas plakát halványuló-élénkülő színeivel. Pont ilyennek láttam tervezéskor a képzeletemben!
Emlékeztet azokra az akrobatákra, légtornászokra, akik bár megsérültek, de sosem adták fel ezt a hivatást évszázados családi gyökereken keresztül örökítve ezt a szenvedélyt, elhivatottságot a szórakoztatás felé.
