Film asks one simple question - what may happen when lights go out?

Lights out is an frame by frame animation with atypical storytelling. The whole story is built of 9 seemingly unconnected looped scenes that change throughout the film, allowing the viewer to interpret the plot of his own.

Finding the right character design was not the easiest task as it couldn't show too much detail and had to fit the story's atmosphere. I was based on the character design from my previous animation The Fruit but making it more adult and mysterious.
