present plays by African-American playwrights, both historical and contemporary. The AATP has three main divisions: Mainstage, Mobile and Shop. The identity manual below further explains the function of these divisions.Since the African American Theatre Project is a new company they commissioned an identity that represented the company’s philosophy of a diversely rich, family friendly community for actors, dancers, and performers interested in sharing the African American heritage and culture.
