Recently, I made some illustrations for the flow.swiss, cool guys from the Swiss-based company that provides premium cloud services for various brands and companies.
They were looking for new aesthetics of the hero images for the forthcoming website, and they very much enjoyed the style of my previous series of conceptual images about Human genetic modifications.
As a result, we came up with five visual concepts, for each key section of the cloud solution that they provide for the clients.
Mac Bare Metal
It's about cloud-hosted Apple Mac mini devices at scale.
Object Storage
It's about highly scalable object storage, designed for storing vast amounts of unstructured content.
Kubernetes
It's about managed Kubernetes clusters, which are built to run, deploy, manage and orchestrate container based web applications
Compute
It's about virtual-machine servers. Other popular term is Infrastructure-as-a-Service.
Mac CI Cloud
it's built on top of Mac Bare Metal, but it's more for continuous integration / software testing purposes for the Apple ecosystem.
Rejected
While working on the images, some illustrations didn't make it to the final selection, but I really like these concepts, so I thought to show them too ;)
Not used concept for Infrastructure-as-a-Service section.
Not used concept for Mac CI Cloud section.
Icons
In addition, I designed a series of icons for various sections of the site, which fully uses the stylistics of my last award-winning Alpha icons collection, which I currently developing. These icons will be included in a future update for the collection.
