I had the incredible honor of being asked by 20th Century Fox Studios to create several pieces of art to help promote the up coming release of The Dark Phoenix.
Little that I know that would initially start off as just a request for a few mini-posters for a few regional Comic Con / Wonder Con events would turn into so much more!!!!!

From Officially representing Dark Phoenix at Brazilian Comic Con , then Wonder Con, L.A.. To Officially having my vector be the actual packaging art with an exclusive Poster for Target Retailers and then being asked to appear at Fan Expo,Toronto & Fan X, Salt Lake City Utah- this was one project to remember!
Poster 1: Official Dark Phoenix - Brazilian Comic Con 2018 (below)
The one challenging issue when having to create and represent a character from a long running pop-culture series is to create the tribute poster like no has ever done before.
Below is my first approved concept combining the familiar gesture/ shadow puppet of hands coming together to form the silhouette of a bird and exaggerate the rising phoenix emerging and soon to engulf the central brand icon of the X-Men.

This time my core focus ( again making sure it hasn't been created before) was to
illustrate the pain, the confusion, the intensity of Jean Grey's mental and physical anguish as she went through her Dark Phoenix metamorphosis.
