A logo design for the podcast about everything hosted by two authors. One of them is an American and another one is a Ukrainian. The client mentioned logo of The Time and Ukrainian coats of arms as a preferred direction, he definitively did not want it to be minimalist. Also, the style should have been on the modern side.

I decided to look for the ideas in the plane of the American-Ukrainian commonalities. After using all of on the surface metaphors of Ukrainian Cossack and American Statue of Liberty, a stork and a hawk  I turned to something less obvious. Among the presented to the client ideas were Mount Rushmore type of scenery with Abraham Lincoln and the first president of Ukraine Mykhailo Hrushevsky. 

My last idea was the face half Statue of Liberty and half a Ukrainian woman in a wreath. The client liked this idea except he did not want an actual face so I had to improvise.
