2020 was a “special” year, we can’t even imagine it is 2021already.

As the theme of this year’s pause originals is “Changes”, we came up with lots of different ideas how the animation will go, most of the concepts are dramatic, futuristic, cold and only exist in our imagination. So..we just thought - why can’t we just be “down-to-earth” and not that serious, but still letting people feel something after watching it.

First half of the video is showing people how everything is “controlled” by order, everything goes one by one, like there is no “freedom”. Suddenly, a sort of computer "virus" exist. Turn everything into a crazy mode, like finally free… we just thought maybe there is no right answer for human being, and probably there is no “true freedom” either.

For the audio, we teamed up with Box of Toys Audio. We came up with the concept of modern, quirky, a bit mad sounding, vocal elements etc. BXFTYS used speech sample from Donald Trump, Beyonce, Elon Musk and the Queen to add a bit of catchy character to the track. The main tag line being “totally off script right now” is from Donald Trump.
