Concept
We all go through changes. We grow, develop, change, and cast shadows on each other, live fingerprints.
Most of the time, the processes of inner growth of a person can be unnoticed by society. It's common when the person seems fine from the outside but is going through a storm inside. This growth is often left unseen and often is painful. Yet, it is one of the most powerful ones in forming our identities. The process of learning who we are, discovering our growth, and accepting ourselves can be ugly, even disturbing sometimes. It requires lots of inner strengths, will, uniqueness...that has to be celebrated and encouraged in youth, in every person.
The most important part is to see the meaning and some beauty within these processes: understand what they truly are about for you to grow to self-fulfillment and understanding of your path.
The creation process started out with a custom painting made on jeans. I was looking for ways to visually communicate what I was feeling at the moment with the world around me through art.
So the idea of showing who I am without words but only visuals fascinated me.
However, the funny thing is that when the painting was finally completed and I saw that it really depicts what I was feeling inside - I realized that I'm feeling fear of showing it up openly to the world, no matter how much I wanted. I was scared of people not understanding, and not hearing what I am trying to say.
