Renaissance City is a Brewery inspired by the urban farming movement that is sweeping the city of Detroit, Michigan. I’ve represented the company with a tire-circled cornhusk fleur de lis, hearkening back to the city’s history while illustrating its new agrarian status. This six-pack showcases two locally grown and brewed craft beers: Motown Growtown Strawberry Saison Ale and Urban Prairie Blueberry Infused Wheat Ale. Made from compostable cardboard material, the six-pack also doubles as a seedling starter, with a removable tray already filled with native seed packets. Overall, the Brewery seeks to brighten Detroit’s reputation while giving consumers a chance to contribute to the local food movement in their own communities.
