Angpao in new year is often perceived as a symbol of fortune and to ward off evil spirits.
With this angpao, it gives you something more - within a pull.
Named as ‘Double Fortune Angpao’, this angpao spreads another form of fortune, or could be
a platform to wish your loved ones something good to start the new year! We hope that this
could bring an extra boost throughout the year - in order to live and hustle the year to the fullest,
just like how determined and hardworking oxes are.
I constructed the pulling mechanism in the angpao thinking it would create an excitement
of the receiver finding out which fortune sleeve they will receive - Just like how they
open those gacha capsules, and or when they break that fortune cookie.
In addition, QR Code was provided in the back of the angpao to introduce the angpao mechanism and concept to the receiver. Translated into two languages, this guide also can be applied to the giver so that they can understand the angpao mechanism more clearly.
