Collaborating once again with Marshmallow Laser Feast, Merchants were asked to visualize Professor Richard Dawkins theory of Memes.
The weeks of research leading up to creating the piece involved browsing various blog pages containing volumes of hilarious animated GIF’s, animals with sunglasses, tasteless typography and datamoshed movies. Each proving, that no matter how brash, that the internet is an ‘Incubator of Creativity’.
The following weeks of design and animation which under MLF's direction developed into a physcadelic, zoetrope barrage of visuals and a musical score featuring Professor Dawkins playing an Ewi.
