Photographer Richard Mark Dobson invites you to view his collection of recent Vietnam work.
Imagery that came out of a 7300km road trip around Vietnam, from Saigon, along the coast up to Hanoi, around into the wild and beautiful north east and north west corners and then back to Saigon along the famed Ho Chi Minh trail.
Dobson has travelled extensively throughout his career, having lived on three continents; Europe, Africa and now based in Vietnam he shares his most inspired work.
Imagery that depicts his undiminished passion for photography and his desire to continually seek out new ways to interpret the world around him.
The collection endorses by representation Dobson’s understanding of the fundamentals or DNA of photography genre, from ‘decisive moment’ urbanscape/landscape photography, portraiture and by exploiting this knowledge he creates work of subtle beauty, of sometimes tense incongruity, but all the while achieving his ultimate aim to create compelling imagery.
