The western town was a fun collaborative project from members of the Adobe Illustrator Art Squad. The Ai Art Squad was formed last year during the Pandemic and it's grown organically with an amazing community of creatives of all forms.

Every member who participated in this project selected a type of building to illustrate. I chose to illustrate the Galaxy Hotel. I naturally love anything related to space and I had to put my cute alien in there.

I had such a great time experimenting with blending modes, clipping masks, patterns, and brushes. 

Each collaborative project I always learn something new! 

One of the members of Ai Art Squad, Dan Ross, gave us the idea of creating a western town. He was inspired by the January Daily Creative Challenges with host Andrew Hochradel.

Dan graciously animated everyone's western town building. As you can see, you are taken on a little adventure to the Ai Art Squad western town. Enjoy!
