Custom Typeface
This is my own custom typeface. I designed it to be a Header Type with its dot-like terminals on the ascenders and descenders. I liked mixing the fine stroke and the thicker strokes to make it more artsy. It is predominantly a san serif type, however the flare of the letters give it the look of a serif typeface. I wanted to design it with a decent x-hieght so it was easily legible at most sizes, although I do not recommend it to be used in paragraphs. It is too flowery for that.
Below are some images of the custom typeface in progress. If you look carefully you can see little notes I made when deciding between two choices for a letter. There had to be consistancy between the letters themselves and between the letters and numbers.
