On February, we were contacted by Institutional Investor's Art Director Jeremy Leung, to produce a promotional video for the relaunch of their events and business conference circuit that it's happening on summer of 2021.
He provided the script and a simple direction, use only black & white and simple shapes. Having this on mind, I came up with the style and animation of the video.
This was such a fun project to create, despite having very simple and a pretty straightforward information about their new security implementations, I tried to do it in a striking, creative way and at the same time with simple figures.

This is the storyboard and some initial style-frames that were created at the first stage of the project. There was a bit of simplification in some of the assets so that they integrate better with the rest of the video.
