Previously whole of this state was called Baluchestan , but Iran symbolically added Sistan to the end of Baluchestan and then after the 1979's revolution in Iran , the name of province was changed to Sistan & Baluchestan without any excuse. Today, Sistan refers to the narrow strip of the northern margin of the province and Baluchestan involves whole Zahedan to Chabahar.
Mars or Martian Mountains, also known as “Koohaye Merikhi” in Persian, are a type of badlands stretched out parallel to the Gulf of Oman. Their current shape results from millions of years of erosion by wind and water. The height of the mountains varies between five to over 100 meters.
Locals named them Martian Mountains, since it seemed as if aliens – in this case people from Mars – built them; with almost no vegetation, their curvy scenery stand in strong contrast with the landscape around.
The Sistani people of "Sistan and Baluchestan province" are Shia Muslims, and the people of Baluchestan area are Sunni Muslims.

Then you would enjoy the white water and unfriendly waves hitting these rocks. These waves really look amazing. They usually have heights more than 15 meters. The combination of strong waves, tall rocks, white water and the blue sky would let you spend some quality time along the Darya Bozorg Coast in Chabahar.
