Learning to Fly
Natural illustration, Editorial Design, Digital Paint
Learning to Fly is one of the illustrations I have been working on during my studies on the lights at sunset.
There is a moment between day and night, where the sky becomes electric blue.
The sun is far beyond the horizon but the night still don't show up.
This is the time called blue hour, a moment where everything is static, suspended, still; a place where there is no time passing by and everything in the world becomes eternal.
Reality overlaps with the intangible world and the subtle mind perceives the unreal taking place.

It all started studying the lights at sunset in the Dolomites. The sky change quickly color, and the environment loses saturation and only the few strong last ray lights remain to describe whatever they touch in an statuesque way. In this precise moment people can see a blade of grass standing out among thousands from very distant point.
The beauty of this phenom has always fascinated me, make me wondering of the vastness of the existence.
Thanks for your time and for watching my work!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Leave me a feedback, tell me what you think I would really appreciate it ;)
