Chris Tamburini's profile

My life in numbers, booklet

An editorial project in which I describe myself through infographics based on van Gogh's main artworks.
I used the main elements of The Starry Night to describe some data about my education. The cypress indicates the distance I travelled to reach the schools. The trend of the hills reflects that of my grades. Each house identifies a school and together they make up the legend. In the sky, the circles of the starry vortexes enlarge according to the expenditure incurred for each institute.
To describe my interests, I took inspiration from van Gogh's Sunflowers. Each flower indicates an activity that I love to do. The petals change size and colour according to the data they represent.
In the Wheatfield with Crows, the crows of the previous pages gather and fly towards the last reason that binds me to van Gogh: the dream of working in his homeland, the Netherlands. The road is a link between who I am today and what I would like to do tomorrow.
