CALENDART 2022 - ILLUSTRATIONS CALENDAR

Illustrazioni di un calendario, realizzate per la selezione del concorso d'illustrazione "Calendart 2022", promosso dall'azienda Buffetti. Ho realizzato in digitale 4 bozze delle illustrazioni che rappresentano i mesi di marzo, maggio, agosto e settembre. Inoltre ho realizzato un'illustrazione campione che rappresenta il mese di dicembre utilizzando la tecnica dei pastelli.

I drew 4 drafts of illustrations using digital techniques which represent the months of March, May, August and September. Additionally, I drew the representative example of an illustration which represent the month of December, using the crayon technique.

Il concept

Stiamo assistendo a una trasformazione del lavoro, e si parla sempre più spesso di smartworking o lavoro in mobilità, soprattutto a causa del covid e della pandemia che ha cambiato le nostre vite e il nostro modo di lavorare. Per questo motivo, ho voluto sviluppare questo tema, partendo nello specifico dalla parola e dal concetto di luogo, e ho voluto illustrare ogni mese del calendario, rappresentando alcune professioni in luoghi diversi, soprattutto cercando di immaginare come il luogo può essere (soprattutto per alcuni tipi di lavoro), un contesto stimolante o creativo, e di conseguenza come può anche riuscire a creare un senso di benessere psico-fisico al lavoratore.

We are witnessing a transformation of work, and there is more and more talk of smart or mobile working, especially because of covid and the pandemic that has changed our lives and the way we work. For this reason, I wanted to develop this theme, starting specifically from the word and concept of place, and I wanted to illustrate each month of the calendar, representing certain professions in different places, especially trying to imagine how place can be (especially for some types of work) a stimulating or creative context, and consequently how it can also manage to create a sense of psycho-physical well-being in the worker.
