International relations are governed by international law principles and the territorial integrity principle is one of them. The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan had been rudely violated by Armenia for nearly 30 years. UN resolutions were ignored. The territories occupied by Armenia are internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan.
We did not want a war, we wanted our lands back. Spilling blood is not the way out. Therefore, we tried to draw the attention of states that can resolve the conflict peacefully, to take a creative approach to the issue.
All of a sudden, the whole country started to share this work. Azerbaijani people living in other countries asked us to adapt this work for the countries they live in.
Our posters were pasted on walls and used in rallies in more than 20 countries.
We believe that creativity is the most powerful weapon. This belief did not deceive us.
