The Story of the Little Rabbit. Character design

Series of illustrations done for Inktober challenge.
Each of the illustrations was done in a day.

Each post was a part of a written story about little Rabbit Leonard and his big adventures.
He likes to do strange things every day's.All time. Day after day ...
“Don't you like the color?!?,” Benjam gave a displeased look. Since Tony had flown to the south with the fish, Raven was constantly in a bad mood. He booted, groaned and looked out of the window a lot. He didn’t say anything, but even so it was all obvious.Passions ran high, lightning flashed in the air. Soon it’s going to explode ...
- Oh, - Rabbit sighed, and thought to himself, - it's time to bring Tony home ...

Leonard opened his eyes, trying to figure out if the world had ended without warning. Being only half awake he jumped out of his bed, trudged into the kitchen, almost getting hit by the plate...
What the hell, he thought. Suddenly, another plate dashed by and fell to tiny pieces with a loud crash at the wall.  Benjam was preparing to launch the next one, and Tony at the same moment timed the flight of plate.
“What a crazy house,” Rabbit sighed, scratching back of his head and sent slippers into a free flight across the kitchen.

One day Tony told about a holiday when it’s possible to meet relatives who passed away. But he forgot what date it was exactly. Tony's forgetfulness didn't bother Rabbit at all. (Rabbit didn’t feel discouraged by Tony’s forgetfulness at all.) On the full moon, he went to visit a distant relative. Why no, they haven't seen each other for ages ... The rabbit came to his senses in the morning, with vague memories and a knuckle in his hand. - What a Horror, - he thought, - I will no longer visit my distant relatives.
Sometimes Tony recalled his Cuban roots. He pulled out a thick cigar and grew a mustache. In those days, they sat silently and admired the beauty of the world. The cigar slowly finished smoldering, making transparent circles of smoke, leaves were falling, and branches kept painting new infinitely beautiful patterns on the wall. Those days lasted forever, and the sunsets were especially bright.
In the early twilight, having grabbed a camouflage cloak, Leonard set off briskly for the magical swamp that lay nearby. Two or three hours ago (maybe after?)... A mosquito was biting his ear, and his legs were numb. The idea of pretending to be a mound didn’t seem genius anymore. The Rabbit kept waiting, he waited with what was left of his strength and even his stubbornness was about to fail... In the morning Benjam was narrating about a magic butterfly of unbelievable beauty that one can see on the swamp.
I will be an autumn leaf, "- decided the rabbit."
What a fool, - thought the hedgehog, pouring rose hip tea into the mugs. - And I will be a hedgehog who’s drinking tea. I wonder why Benjam is being late." Leonard was dangling,  caught by a branch, squealing with delight. "What a strange day and what a strange tea party," - thought Raven, flying up to the tree.
