Penguin Books UK presented a challenge to design a cover for John le Carré's adventure and spy novel, The Night Manager. After reading a bit of the book, I learned the main character wore a carnation on his suit. In order to merge the main character's real identity and day job, I created a silhouette of a gun using carnations. Look closely at the handle of the gun... do you see a hidden identity?
