Last week, we've taken as a project to create an AU (Alternate Universe) of disney related characters and many other classic ones from other companies. 

I chose to make one of Rapunzel. 

Specifically an au where she's an elf like mermaid. This is the original picture I used for the pose.

First one, 

the concept of my versions.

And the second one of my version, which is the finalised one. 

And with a background along the same one which includes the name I've thought of it.

A lot of changes happened in the finalised version because I eventually didn't want to have the classic mermaid bra on her so I used her original dress to make them parts of her mermaid appearance. 

Her hair have blue highlights because I've thought of her having the power of the moonstone along with the power of the sundrop, which makes it obvious to the reason why her one eye is yellow and her other one is blue. 

I would put her original crown on her head but it didn't fit yet it wasn't "sitting" so good on her head so I erased it and replaced it with a png one I found on Google and made it "sit" perfectly on her head.

I also searched for png dress ornaments to put right in the middle of her body but I didn't find any so I made them myself with the paint brush.
