The Bell Helicopter 429 VIP brochure project was challenging but resulted in the creation of imagery that gives an air of sophistication and luxury as it was intended to do.
Due to the lack of existing aircraft and images of aircraft with "VIP" interiors; these models are a mix of CAD data and models I created. I designed all of the paint schemes and interior color choices. All images were created with 3D Studio Max 2013 using the iRay renderer.
Bell Helicopters have one of the most recognizable shapes in the world. I tried to use those lines in conjunction with the black paint to highlight one of the most recognized helicopter brands in the world.
This interior went on to be recreated in the 429 Demonstration aircraft now being used for trade shows and customer demonstations
Images on the right are actual photographs, some of the only photographs used in the entire brochure.
The yacht image was provided and I painted out all the chairs and railings on the helideck. I rendered the aircraft in 3DS Max using iRay and composited it into the scene.
