This project brief was to design a logo for a cutting edge Fashion Symposium in Helsinki. I decided to name it Warp as a reference to the warp and weft of woven fabric and to give it a slightly edgier feel. I really enjoy photography and used details from my own urban photographs in the logo to allude to the idea of high fashion coming from the street. I then used the repetition of the W shape to create a pattern for use on the mobile website and various accessories. The overlapping lines are another reference to textiles and stitch.
