Transcend is a company that provides secure data centers with complete control over the data. At the same time, the company aims towards a simple data management process while educating the end-users. Their mission is to bring data rights into the world by making a digital revolution.
During the collaboration with our friends at Transcend, our primary challenges were to build a trustful and legitimate image of their company, increasing sales inbound and job applications. Our team had to refresh their brand identity and apply the same design concept on their website. The idea behind the Transcend brand is revolving around their data privacy center. Everything that goes off the circle boundaries will eventually connect with a Transcend data center. That is the core metaphor of their brand logo.
During the early development steps, we broke down their brand concept into four key nouns. Each signified a separate side of the Transcend brand: Time-saving, Trust, Private, and Data Management. Based on them, we plunged into creating various and unique approaches for the original logo while testing the numbers of lines, their thickness, and colors. In the end, however, we came up with the circle brand logo filled with a Neon Blue color as it has inspired and encouraged both teams. As the last stroke, we rendered the Transcend logo and placed it on various physical and digital formats to show how it may evolve with time.
Together with our partners at Transcend, we found out that their website was outdated, so they wanted to produce a new image. Thus, we added several design elements and visual identity assets (we developed previously) to the website to have a confidential and trustworthy look. Furthermore, our team has achieved sustainable and stable web content management, thanks to the headless CMS, with DatoCMS on the back-end and GatsbyJS on the front-end. As a result, the marketing website layout was clear, white, and bright with a neat pack of various guidelines.
