One day, a friend of mine approached me and said that he had suddenly decided to buy an apartment. So began our long journey together, almost a year long, from concrete to the dream apartment. My task was to correctly zone the space, without resorting to partitions, but to get an isolated sleeping place. At the same time, the windows are only on one side, they offer a magnificent view, but the bedroom by the window assumed a departure from the largest possible space of the kitchen and living room, plus we had a balcony, on which and only on which it was possible to place the air conditioner. As a result, the apartment was divided into two parts: we demolished the balcony, along the windows we got a decent living area, and the rest of the part of it was given over to a bedroom with a sliding slatted partition for access to natural light even when the doors were closed, a huge wardrobe separating the bedroom from the entrance to the apartment, and a block of a bathroom with a kitchen built around a sewer and ventilation shaft, these two blocks eventually formed an entrance hall and a corridor from the entrance door to the living area. As much storage space as possible was made, and there was plenty to store. A friend collects sneakers, has several longboards and a boundless love of good clothes.90% of the furniture was made to order, which made it possible to optimize the space as much as possible and preserve the space in the living area. It was difficult to hide the outdoor unit of the air conditioner ,because it remained in the apartment, but we were able to create a sound-absorbing box for it and hide it in a cabinet under one of the windows. We hung a bicycle in a prominent place in the corridor ,and under it we made a niche for the rarest pairs from his collection. Under this niche there is a hidden mini bar. All the furniture is painted in matt black, the walls are painted in very light gray-beige shade. Against this background, the sofa, a pale emerald color, also made to order, plays well. The dining group is purchased from Ikea. As well as some appliances in the kitchen. The countertop, by the way, we made from the remains of a very beautiful engineering from Finex. The huge painting was made right on the spot by a rather famous street artist @sneksy.The tiles in the bathroom are made by hand in a small production near Moscow and their shade echoes the sofa. Sanfayans villeroy&Boch. Mixer for water Bossini. Background large-format porcelain tile from Italon. The washing machine is located in the cabinet to the right of the sink and the telescopic dryer is located in the shower area. The skateboards on the wall between the windows are painted in oil by our friend Rafi. This style I would like to use I called it practical minimalism, there is a minimum of decor, a lot of function, a lot of open concrete, a lot of light and a lot of black, a good view, the last floor and an unforgettable shade of blue in the bedroom.
