Ortodox Gospel

The book is an orthodox gospel used at the altar in churches. It includes four main parts written by four apostles, plus in the end, is the Christian worship calendar. Each part, in the beginning, has an image of the author, an icon of an apostle. Also, each part has its design of the frame, header, footer that are drawings of concrete plant symbolizing each apostle. Text is written with ancient Georgian lettering that is still used for religious serving by the Orthodox church. The main text is written with Nuskhuri lettering. Asomtavruli letters are used as titles, but also in drop capitals. The whole text traditionally is accompanied by numbers and subtitles on its sides that are also written with Asomtavruli. Together with illustrations comes golden foil parts that are a sparkling part of the whole book. Book has a leather cover with an icon that has golden and embossed parts.
