THIS PROJECT IS a dedication artwork to ARMY and BTS all over the world.

The danger spread to all countries on the planet in 2020.
The virus has engulfed the world, and we've all had a hard time.

The virus also spread in South Korea where I live.

Many people lost their jobs and became tired because of the sudden incident.
I thought what I could do to overcome the difficult situation.

I wanted to find something hopeful.

I wanted to convey hope around me.
I discovered that it was music that I could share with people close to me and give them hope.

There is a world-famous musician BTS in Korea.
All Koreans love BTS, and BTS also expresses the message of hope with music.
Their music healed me and people around me, and I expressed BTS as a artworks.

I wanted to share their "message of hope" and "energy" with everyone as a work of art.

The seven butterflies depicted in the painting symbolize the "energy and hope" of each member of the BTS.

I made this project with traditional brush techniques using "Korean traditional brushes."

And I tried to express a new feeling by combining brush techniques and digital artwork together.

For this project, I developed and challenged a new touch method, brush scan, and expression method for a year.

The concept of this project is "One with Nature".
beings with various energies living with humans in the world.

I expressed those beings in my artwork.

The reason "BTS" can generate energy is because "ARMY" exists.

I found connected elements in a world where people live together.

Just as seven "BTS" members communicate with the world,

people have found the most familiar elements in living in the world.

Then, I tried to express them in one artwork.

"BTS" always talked about "hope" as a song, and their songs contain "meaning to the world".

It helped me cheer up and further gave us "energy".

1. JIN

The "strongness" and "elegance" of a horse are identical to the charm of "Jin".

The charm of words itself is the charm of being itself without decoration. That part resembles "Jin".

Explosive "dash skills" and "intense" are also the same tone as Jin.

Hyundai "Santa Fe" model features a cool touch and cleanliness. It was expressed as a artwork because it was identical to the charm of "Jin."

2. JUNGKOOK

"Jungkook" is the youngest member of BTS, but he is the main vocalist.

I still remember clearly when I first heard the high-pitched part of the chorus in the fourth regular album ON.
His unique voice has a strong charm and he is a member who is more excited for the future.

The eagle symbolizing the United States with the Billboard and the tiger symbolizing Korea were expressed together.

The "GV80" is a global sales model and a recently created SUV.
It is the youngest vehicle model like "Jungkook" and contains the direction and meaning of the global market.

3. J-HOPE

J-Hope (Hoseok) is in charge of dancing in BTS. He has great dance skills and shows great energy when he raps.

Personally, I like that the energy that comes out when I smile is so bright!

HYUNDAI "Tucson" has a sleek design with "clever and bright energy." "J-Hope" exquisitely matches this charm and describes this part as a artwork.

4. V

BTS' sub-vocal "V".

He's the coolest when he sings on stage.

Personally, it surprised me that he wrote/composed the song himself.
He's already made 3 of his own songs.

His family thought was the most memorable, and his self-composed song "Winter bear" was the most impressive.

He wrote this song thinking about his grandmother.

He has a distinct presence and a sense of Asian "dragon" symbolizing protection. His warm heart resembles the "GV70" which shows a distinct design.

5. JIMIN

"Jimin" has such a neat image no matter who looks at it.

He sometimes delivers an angel-like feeling.
His tone also has a beautiful voice.

His energy in the "ON - PERFORMANCE MUSIC VIDEO" of BTS' fourth album (Map of the Soul: 7) was enormous.

With the melody of the dance and its own color, "Jimin" was able to discover a new charm.

His charm was natural and clear, which reminded him of "water" and also expressed the "NEXO" hydrogen car of the HYUNDAI.

6. SUGA

SUGA(Yoongi) is back.

It was nice to see him coming to the fans again after shoulder surgery.

I had the soft-looking impression of "Suga".
But the sharp "rap" pouring out of him is so cool! If you're curious about his strong tone, listen to "Daechwita."

His strong tone of voice has both "weight" and "strongness". It resembles the image of the large SUV "Pelisade" of the HYUNDAI.
