MATTE PAINTING
Here I have created an Antarctic landscape set during the astronomical phenomena northern lights. The goal was to visualize an idea without relying on 3D modeling and focus more on artistic values than realism. Based on a simple hand drawn sketch, a mood sketch was developed. The buildings’ geometry was then constructed in 3D before completing the image in Photoshop.
